Minimum age

PartOfMyDay is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not currently operate a verified age-check mechanism beyond your confirmation when you use the service.

Information we collect

We collect the email address and internal account identifier used to authenticate you; your profile, preferences, and timezone; the messages you send and receive, including delivery state; relationship continuity data such as facts extracted from your conversations, conversation summaries and memories, relationship state, pending follow-ups, and your companion's private reflections and proactive-message decisions about you; records of images shared or generated in your conversations; subscription state including trial and expiry dates, freeze/resume status, billing-provider event identifiers, and the email attribute we send to RevenueCat for support lookups; and a minimal account-audit record (your former account identifier and relevant timestamps) kept after account deletion, described further below. We do not collect your legal name, postal address, precise location, contacts, or payment card numbers.

Why we use this information

We use this information to authenticate and operate your account; to deliver conversations and maintain relationship continuity; to respect timing, timezone, and quiet-hour behavior; to generate replies, classifications, summaries, embeddings, and images; to maintain your subscription access; and to prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and complete account deletion requests.

AI and infrastructure processing

Conversation and context data is processed by AI services to generate replies and memory-related outputs. Service providers include OpenRouter for language-model processing and Cloudflare Workers AI for embeddings, alongside Cloudflare, which hosts the app and stores certain assets. This list reflects our current providers and is not necessarily exhaustive or permanently fixed.

Third-party providers

We do not treat your data as never shared with third parties — it is processed by named service providers who help operate PartOfMyDay. Supabase provides authentication, Postgres-based storage, and realtime message delivery. RevenueCat is the system of record for your subscription, tracking entitlement state, performing customer lookups, and supplying the managed-subscription link you use to change or cancel your plan. Paddle provides the billing engine and merchant infrastructure underneath RevenueCat for web subscriptions.

Isolation between users

Your messages, personal memories, relationship state, and your companion's private reflections about you are your own and are not surfaced as part of another user's experience. The one exception: a companion's authored background and its public reflections (ones not tied to any specific user) are shared and may appear across more than one user's experience.

Memory visibility

Stored conversation information supports the ongoing continuity of your relationship with your companion. There is currently no screen that lets you browse everything your companion remembers about you.

Account deletion

Settings provides a Delete Account action. Choosing it permanently removes your authentication account and your messages and memories, along with your companion relationship and memory data, pending follow-ups, proactive-reach decisions about you, image-generation records tied to your conversations, your own private life-log entries, your profile and companion-match records, your local subscription-entitlement cache, and any user-targeted admin photo delivery records.

A few narrow exceptions apply. Global, public companion reflections and globally shared assets are not your personal records and are not affected by your deletion. A minimal audit row — your former account identifier plus relevant timestamps only, with no messages, profile, or memory content — is retained for integrity purposes. RevenueCat and Paddle may retain their own billing records independently of this deletion, governed by their own policies. The underlying stored image files themselves are not currently removed by account deletion — a known limitation, not a delayed process. Subject to these narrow exceptions, your messages and memories are permanently removed when you delete your account.

Retention and your rights

We retain information for as long as necessary to operate your account, subject to deletion and the exceptions described above — we do not apply fixed, pre-set retention periods beyond that.
